In an interesting incident, a Bengaluru man carried his electric scooter in the elevator to the fifth floor in order to charge his scooter. "My apartment community in the so-called EV capital, wouldn't let me install an EV charging point... rhetoric about EV charging in India," wrote Vish Ganti, Vice President GM AutoGrid India. However, BESCOM has announced to install 140 EV-charging stations in the next 6 months.
