Andhra Pradesh Police Arrest Man For Murder Of Three
Andhra Pradesh police on August 16, arrested a person for allegedly murdering three persons. The accused had been identified as Rambabu, who is a resident of Anakapalli district. Reportedly, the mental condition of the accused is not stable, as she left him for another man. Furthermore, he was also cheated by an employee of his, which left an impact on him. GVMC Constructs Floating Solar Power Plant On Meghadri Gedda Reservoir, AP
The Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) has inaugurated a floating solar power plant on Andhra Pradesh's Meghadri Gedda reservoir. Every year, the facility can generate 4.2 million units of power. Fire Breaks Out In Shipping Company's Warehouse In Visakhapatnam; 7 Injured, 4 Critical
In a private shipping company's warehouse in Visakhapatnam, located near pedagantyada on Gangavaram port road, a massive fire broke out, on June 2. The incident has left seven persons seriously injured, of which, fourt are reportedly in critical condition. Fire fighting officials reached the spot to douse the fire. Cyclone Asani Continues To Disrupt Flight Services In Chennai & Vishakapatnam
Ranjith Bhasha, Collector of Andhra Pradesh's Krishna district, warned seafarers from venturing into the sea, in wake of cyclone Asani, on May 11. He further informed that heavy rainfall is expected between Vishakapatnam and Kakinada. Flight operations have been halted on May 11, in Vishakapatnam and Chennai. Reportedly, a total of 17 flights have been cancelled in Chennai, for a second consecutive day.
