Vistara Claims Injuries To Girl On Board, Announces Medical Expenses
Vistara on August 16, said a child, 10-year-old, onboard a flight from the national capital to Frankfurt last week sustained injuries due to the spillage of a hot beverage. It also added all medical expenses due to the incident will be reimbursed by the airline. The incident happened on flight UK25 on August 11 but came to light recently. The girl was travelling with her parents.

DCGA Fines Vistara Airlines Of Rs 10 Lakh For This
Vistara airlines was fined Rs 10 lakh for violating safety regulations after an untrained pilot landed a flight in Indore. On June 2, the Director-General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) imposed the fine, saying, "This was a serious violation endangering lives of the passengers on board". Notably, the pilot on board was not trained to land a flight in a stimulator, which is a necessary requirement before flying craft with passengers.

Vistara Launches New Security Check Procedure For Business Class Passengers: London Airport
Vistara has introduced a fast-track security clearance system for business class customers travelling from London's Heathrow airport on its journey to Delhi. Every day, Vistara operates a Boeing 787-9 on the Delhi-London-Delhi route. Vinod Kannan, the airline's CEO, characterised London as the "crown jewel" among the airline's ten non-Indian destinations. The services began at London Heathrow Airport from May 11.

Vistara CEO: Salary Review For the Employees will be Done in January, 2021
Vistara's Chief Executive Officer, Leslie Thng, said that there will be no 'lay offs' but the 'salary cuts' will be reviewed. "With the intent of protecting all jobs at Vistara, we have had to make the difficult decision of reducing some staff costs by salary cuts," he further added. The CEO stated that salary review for Vistara's 4000 employees will take place in January 2021.
