Govt To Check Over-The-Counter Sale Of Veterinary Drugs To Conserve Vultures
Releasing the “Action Plan for Vulture Conservation 2020-2025”, the Environment Ministry has decided to regulate the over-the-counter sale of veterinary non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Madhya Pradesh: Vultures' Population Drops In India's Cleanest City 'Indore'
In the 2018-19 Forest Department’s survey, the vulture count in Indore has dropped to 97 from 2016's tally of 176. Devguradia hillock, a dumping site, has faced a drastic fall in vultures' count owing to safe disposal of wastes.
