An unidentified man set his car ablaze, and drove it straight to the US Capitol building, ramming into the barricade on August 13, reported Fox News. Five persons were shot and injured in a shootout at Walmart, in Washington's Mount Vernon. The incident occurred on July 17, when a group of men entered the store and found themselves having an altercation with another group. The injured persons include a 72-year-old customer, 24-year-old employee and three 19-year-old men who were involved in the altercation. U.S tech company Google Inc. has donated 1 million dollars to the Taiwan FactCheck Center (TWC), to help combat the effects of disinformation.
