Kaziranga Wetlands Clock 175% Rise In Water Bird Population
Population of water birds in Assam's Kaziranga National Park has increased by 175%, revealed a latest census findings. Conducted in 52 wetlands of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the census documented 93,491 birds, including 58 migratory avian species from Europe, Central and East Asia.
