Govt Nixes All Charges On Ships Carrying Oxygen, Related Cargo At Major Ports

The Ports, Shipping, and Waterways ministry in its April 25 order stated to waive off all charges on vessels carrying oxygen for the next three months. The Port Chairpersons will closely monitor the logistics to ensure fast delivery of oxygen-related cargo and hassle-free services to handle the crisis at these unprecedented times. However, the vessels carrying other containers with oxygen will be charged on a pro-rata basis.
