BJP Pushed Country Back To 'Era Of Riots', Says Owaisi: Gyanvapi Mosque Row
AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi slammed the BJP led central government and stated that they have taken the country back to 90s, the "era of riots". The statement has come amid the ongoing Gyanvapi Mosque row in Uttar Pradesh's Varanasi. After a Shivling was allegedly found inside the mosque, the court ordered the area to be sealed. Owaisi said that the court order was "wrong".

Gyanvapi Mosque Case: Plea Filed In Varanasi Court To Demolish Wall Beside Wazukhana
A plea has been filed in Varanasi Court on May 18, seeking permission to demolish the wall beside the Wazukhana where the Shivling is claimed to have been found. Advocate for the petitioner Vishnu Shankar Jain said that the demolition of the said wall will help them "enter further" into the matter. Furthermore, court has removed Advocate Commissioner Ajay Mishra for leaking the contents of the survey.

Shivling Found In Wazukhana At Gyanvapi Mosque; Area Sealed
Wazukhana in Gyanvapi mosque has been sealed by order of the Varanasi civil court, on May 17, after a big Shivling was found. Reportedly, a well like structure was found in the Wazukhana. After the water level was reduced, a big Shivling was found. The Shivling has a diameter of 4 metres and a height of around 3 feet. "The area has been sealed," reported ANI.
