Air Quality In Delhi Moves To Very Poor Category With 302 AQI
The air quality in Delhi on January 31 dropped into the 'very poor' category. The concerned department said, overall Air Quality Index (AQI) recorded at 302 in the morning, which worsened compared to "poor category" reported on January 30. Earlier on Sunday, Delhi has 282 AQI. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) informed that the minimum temperature in Delhi settled down to 8°C and the maximum is expected to touch 23°C.

Regions Of Kashmir Valley Receive Fresh Snowfall, Temperature Falls
Gulmarg & Pahalgam in Kashmir received fresh snowfall, while the minimum temperature dropped slightly in most of its parts. In Srinagar, the minimum temperature settled at a low of 2.2°C, while Gulmarg recorded a low of minus 2.2°C. The officials in Meteorological Department have said that weather will remain cloudy in the Jammu & Kashmir, with possibility of rain or snow during January 22-23.

Air Quality Improves In Delhi From 'Very Poor' to 'Poor' Category
Delhi's air quality has improved from 'very poor' to 'poor' on January 17, with an Air Quality Index (AQI) of 262. The air quality in Noida (323) remains in the 'very poor' category, while the air quality in Gurugram (201) is in the 'poor' category. An AQI from 0-5 is considered 'good', 51-100 'satisfactory', 101-200 'moderate', 201-300 'poor', 301-400 'very poor', and 401-500 'severe'.

Air Quality In Delhi Slips To 'Moderate'; AQI Stands At 142
The Air Quality Index of Delhi continues to remain in the "moderate" category on January 13. According to SAFAR, the national capital's AQI is 142. On January 12, the AQI of Delhi slipped from the "satisfactory" category to the "moderate". The city's air quality was in the "satisfactory category" for the last three days from January 9 to January 11. As per government agencies, AQI of 101-200 is considered "moderate".

Delhi-NCR & Adjoining Areas Receive Heavy Rains For 2nd Consecutive Day
On the second consecutive day, Delhi-NCR witnessed heavy rains in the morning on January 9. After the continuous rain for two days, the air quality in the city improved from 'moderate' to 'satisfactory' with the Air Quality Index standing at 90, while waterlogging was witnessed in parts of the city. 35 Flights Arrives At Srinagar After 2 Days Disruption

National Capital Delhi Records Over 11°C Temperature
Delhi witnessed a cloudy morning during the morning of January 6, with the minimum temperature settling at 11.7°C, five notches above the average. The Indian Meteorological Department said, the city received 9 mm rainfall in the last 24 hours till 8:30 am. In addition, the National Capital's air quality remained in the 'very poor' category as the air quality index clocked 339 at 8 am.
