The state of Karnataka has been witnessed 30% additional rain in June and July, causing widespread damage to life and property. Karnataka received 450.20mm of rainfall between June 1 and July 17, compared to the usual 347.60mm. IMD Predicts Extremely Heavy Rainfall In These Places; Check Here
Telangana, Gujarat, Karnataka, Goa, Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh is likely to experience extremely heavy rainfall in the next few days, reported IMD, on July 11. According to IMD forecast, extremely heavy rainfall is expected in Telangana between July 10 and 12, between July 10 and 14 in Maharashtra and Gujarat, between July 13 and 14 in Saurashtra and Kutch. Meanwhile, the rains are expected between July 11 and 14 in Goa.

In eastern Rajasthan, many places like Khanpur of Jhalawar, Sarmathura of Dholpur and Mandhana of Kota recorded 7 cm of rainfall each. On July 10, the IMD issued alert and forecasted thunderstorms, and heavy to moderate rainfall.
