Indian Navy Unfurls World's Largest National Flag In Mumbai: Navy Day
Celebrating National Navy Day, the Western Naval Command unfurled the world's largest national flag at the Naval Dockyard in Mumbai on December 4. It also overlooked Mumbai's iconic Gateway of India. The flag was made of Khadi by the Khadi and Village Industries. Reportedly, the flag measured 225 feet in length, 150 feet in width and weighed around 1,400 kg.
