Gigantic Whale Washes Up Dead On A Beach In Maharashtra

A 40-feet long Whale which weighed around 30,000 kg washed up dead ashore on a beach in Maharashtra, on September 21 which sparked lots of attention. Officials stated that the gigantic whale mostly died sometime in August and got washed up from the Arabian Sea. Officials were highly unsuccessful in moving the dead whale's body and eventually buried the Whale's body at the beach after digging a five-feet deep hole.

Sri Lanka: Villagers Break Curfew To Rescue Stranded Whales On Colombo Beach

Villagers near Colombo’s Panadura beach in Sri Lanka broke COVID-19 curfew to rescue around 100 whales that had beached. The locals pushed the small whales back to sea.
