WhatsApp Launches New Options To Categorize Conversations
WhatsApp, the Meta-owned messaging service, is introducing a new feature that allows beta users to use a filter button to sort their unread conversations. The upgrade for the Desktop beta app for Windows and macOS was released two weeks ago. "When you use the new unread chat filter, WhatsApp will automatically list all your unread messages, so it is now easier to manage them," according to WABetaInfo.

Kolkata: KMC Allows To Book Vaccination Slots Via WhatsApp Chat Bots
The Kolkata Municipal Corporation on May 17 rolled out WhatsApp chatbots enabling people to book for the second COVID dose. Initially starting at the Bidhan Sishu Udyan, South City School and Roxy Cinema vaccination centers for the first phase, vaccination at other wards will be announced later. While bookings for May 18 will start from 10AM on May 17, users need to send ‘Hi’ on WhatsApp number 8335999000.

WhatsApp's New "Expiring Message" Feature Enables Chats to Self-Delete
WhatsApp is planning to roll out a new feature, "Expiring message", for its android users. According to WABetaInfo, the new feature will have the functionality of self-deleting messages. However, media files can be stored in the phone by downloading or taking screenshots. Reportedly, It will provide three options - one day, one week and one month - to set the time for messages getting disappear automatically.
