Telangana Finance Minister Slams Central Govt, Demands Issue Of White Paper On Jobs
Telangana Finance Minister T Harish Rao slammed Bharatiya Janata Party-led central government on July 4 and asked them to submit a white paper on providing two crore jobs per year, as pledged during elections. He claimed the Telangana agitation was primarily about water, finances, and employment. He said Telangana's growth serves as an example for the rest of the nation and if Center provided funding, Telangana will continue to flourish.

Gorkha Community Demands For Indigenous Group Recognition In Assam
To be recognised as an indigenous group, the Bharatiya Gorkha Parisangh (BGP) of Assam has released a whitepaper on November 28. Spokesperson Nanda Kirati Dewan has stated that their community was "undermined and left out" from Assam Accord Clause 6. Moreover, he added that the whitepaper contains facts and statements that justify the community's demand.
