Delhi Metro Launches Free WiFi At Yellow Line Metro Stations
In a step to improve the services for passengers, Delhi Metro has launched the free high-speed wifi service at Yellow line that covers 37 metro stations between Huda City Centre to Samaypur Badli on October 17. Anyone needs logging into network ID ''OUI DMARC FREE Wi-Fi'' followed by filling OTP and accepting terms conditions. Reportedly, the service will further be introduced inside Metro trains in a year's time.

Reliance Jio Working On Budget Laptop 'Jio Book'
Telecommunications giant Reliance Jio is reportedly adding a novel product to its line - budget-friendly laptops - provisionally called 'JioBook'. RailTel Corporation Starts Paid Wi-Fi Plans At 4,073 Railway Stations
The RailTel Corporation of India has launched high-speed paid Wi-Fi services at 4,073 railway stations. The pre-paid plan will offer 30 minutes of free Wi-Fi a day at 1 mbps. However, at an extra fee, one can avail higher speed up to 34 mbps. The plans range from Rs 10 for 5GB/day to Rs 60 for 30GB/day, which can be paid online. RailTel expects an annual revenue of Rs 10-15 crore after lockdown is eased.

Delhi Government To Provide Free WiFi Hotspots At Singhu Border
Arvind Kejriwal-led Delhi government on December 29 stated that it would set up free WiFi hotspots for the farmers protesting at Singhu border. Centre To Launch Public Wi-Fi Service PM-WANI Across Country
To improve data connectivity across the country by offering public Wi-Fi service, the cabinet has assented for PM-Wi-fi Access Network Interface aka PM-WANI on December 9.
