As many as three kilograms of pangolin scales and 38 pangolin claws were seized by the Kolkata Police Detective Department and the Wildlife Crime Control Bureau (WCCB) of the Union ministry of environment, forest and climate change on July 11 from central Kolkata. The wildlife smugglers were held when a joint team investigated a bus on Kolkata’s Bentinck Street. Besides, the accused will be soon produced before the court.
