The release of Will-Smith-starrer 'Emancipation' has been deferred following the Oscars incident. The movie is now slated for release somewhere in 2023. The 'Men in Black' actor has been paying the price for slapping comedian Chris Rock at the Oscars over a joke. He has also been banned from attending the Oscars for a whole decade. Recently, Rock's mother also publicly opened up on the now-infamous incident.

Hollywood actor Will Smith has made his first public appearance since the Oscars incident at the Mumbai airport. He was spotted waving at the paps. The 'Men in Black' actor had received a global backlash last month after physically assaulting comedian Chris Rock at the Oscars over a joke. He has been banned from attending 'The Oscars' for a whole decade now. This is not Will's first visit to India.

During a stand-up show in Boston, Chris Rock said, "I don't have a bunch of shit about what happened, so if you come to hear that, I have a whole show I wrote before this weekend, and I'm still kind of processing what happened". He further assured to talk about the incident, saying, "It'll be serious and it'll be funny". Meanwhile, after the slap incident, Smith officially apologized through Instagram.

Hollywood superstar Will Smith took to social media on June 20 to announce the first look of his autobiography 'Will'. The book is set to be published by Penguin and will be released into stores on November 9. However, Smith is co-writing the book with Mark Manson, and the cover is designed by Brandan "BMike" Odums, a New Orleans artist. Besides, Smith has worked on the book for 2 years.
