Mumbai To Witness Heat In Coming Days, Says IMD

Mumbai is set to witness scorching heat as 'winter' ends in the capital city of Maharashtra. As per the IMD, the temperature in Mumbai is expected to go beyond 36 degrees celsius in the next two days, February 4 & 5. Moreover, the Air Quality Index (AQI) of the city remained in the 'poor' category, with a reading of 273, said weather experts.

Air Quality Improves In Delhi From 'Very Poor' to 'Poor' Category

Delhi's air quality has improved from 'very poor' to 'poor' on January 17, with an Air Quality Index (AQI) of 262. The air quality in Noida (323) remains in the 'very poor' category, while the air quality in Gurugram (201) is in the 'poor' category. An AQI from 0-5 is considered 'good', 51-100 'satisfactory', 101-200 'moderate', 201-300 'poor', 301-400 'very poor', and 401-500 'severe'.

Delhi Witnesses 'Coldest Morning' With 4.6° Celsius Temperature

Delhi witnessed coldest morning on December 19, with temperature falling as low as 4.6° Celsius, reported weather department. According to IMD, the maximum temperature of Delhi will be nearly 18° Celsius. With today's temperature, Delhi witnessed first 'Cold Day' in 2021. Notably, below 10° Celsius is termed as 'Cold Day'.
