World's First Wireless Brain-Computer Interface Successfully Tested

For the first in the world, a wireless brain-computer interface has been tested successfully on humans, giving out ground-breaking results. Known as 'BrainGate', the new system places small transmitter on a subject's head, thereby tethering to the electrode array in the brain's motor cortex. Interestingly, the participants in the trial were able to type on a computer in similar speed. The device has been made to help paralytic patients.
