The UP Police on September 29, found the headless body of a woman with four of her fingers missing in Banda district. The woman, aged about 35-40-years, was partially clothed and her head was found at some distance from her body, said SP Ankur Agarwal. The body was identified as one Maya Devi, wife of Ramkumar Ahirwar, a resident of Chhatarpur district in MP who was murdered, over affair suspect.

A woman registered a case against an individual for alleged molestation at Thane Railway Police. A horrific incident of sexual harassment by a Rapido rider was reported in Bengaluru, on July 22.  Getting into the details, a woman activist booked a bike taxi after several auto cancellations, to reach home. The victim said, the Rapido biker came on a different bike than registered one and started masturbating midway, using one hand to ride. He also sent inappropriate 'Love you' messages to the victim.

In Uttarakhand's Dehradun, a15-year-old juvenile has been arrested for raping a five-star hotel's housekeeping staff (24), confirmed police on June 19.  Notably, the boy who was staying in the hotel with his parents barged into a lady's-washroom and raped the victim.
