83 Women Soldiers Inducted For Non-Officer Cadre In Military
In a first for India, an 83-member batch of women soldiers was inducted into the Indian Army on May 8 for a non-officer cadre. The soldiers have successfully completed their 61-week intense training including that of policing duties, military, signal communication, handling prisoners of war and maintenance of vehicles. The induction program was held at The Corps of Military Police Centre & School, Bangalore.
