Srijit Mukherji To Direct Sports Drama 'Shabaash Mithu'
Srijit Mukherji, the renowned director of movies like Begum Jaan, has taken over the charge to direct, "Shabaash Mithu", starring Tapsee Pannu. Earlier, the movie was supposed to be directed by Rahul Dholakia, who then stepped down stating, “covid messed up everyone’s schedules, mine was no different." The movie is based on the life of Indian Women's cricket team captain Mithali Raj and is being produced by Viacom 18 Pictures.

Indian Women Cricket Team To Play 1st Day-Night Test Against Aussies
BCCI secretary Jay Shah on May 20 announced that the Indian women’s cricket team will play its maiden pink-ball Test later this year against Australia. Sharing the news on Twitter, Shah cited the move as a part of the BCCI’s "commitment towards women’s cricket”. Notably, India’s maiden pink-ball Test against Australia will be the second such game to be played in the women’s cricket history.

BCCI Asks Indian Women Cricketers To Reach Mumbai On Oct 13 For T20 Challenge
Ahead of the Women's T20 challenge, BCCI has informed 30 Indian women cricketers to reach Mumbai by October 13. The T20 Challenge is scheduled to take place in the UAE, starting from November 4. Reportedly, once arrived in Mumbai, all players will be quarantined for more than a week and will be tested multiple times for COVID-19. BCCI Likely To Conduct Women's T20 Challenge From November 4 In Dubai
Sources from the BCCI have revealed that the 'Women's T20 Challenge' will be conducted from November 4 to November 9 in Sharjah, Dubai. A total of four matches will be scheduled according to the round-robin format for the three teams participating in the tournament. Reportedly, the players will reach the UAE in the second week of October, and will undergo a six-day quarantine on arrival.
