Woman Resigns In 3 Days Of Joining, Asks Netizens If She Did Right

A woman took to 'X' formerly known as Twitter and shared about her job resignation in just three days of joining. The woman explained and said, "He (boss) accused me of being argumentative. He then told me he was giving me until tomorrow (which is today) to decide if I can work there. I told him I didn't need till tomorrow, and said I was resigning effectively immediately."

TCS Asks Employees To Work From Office, Sent Email

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) finally ended the work-from-home (WFH) system for its employees, asking them to come office at least thrice a week. On September 24, the TCS sent an email to all of its employees, working in a hybrid model, ending full work-from-home adopted because of the pandemic. Senior employees have already been working from the office and customers are also visiting the TCS offices, read email.

US Jury Imposes Fine To Tesla Over Employee Racial Harassment

Owing to the racial harassment, a US federal jury on October 4 has ordered Tesla Inc. to pay more than $130 million as compensation to Owen Diaz, a Black former employee. Reportedly, the jury found that the employee worked in a racially hostile atmosphere. However, according to the verdict, Tesla failed to take adequate precautions in order to protect Diaz from being harassed due to racism.

Most Overworked In Asia-Pacific, Indians Earn Least: ILO Report 

An International Labour Organization report exhibited that in the Asia-Pacific region, Indians are the most over-worked earning the least minimum statutory wage. Ranking fifth in the terms of working hours, the report stated that Indians work over 48 hours a week, followed by China, UK, US and Israel. Moreover, leaving out a few sub-Saharan African countries, the minimum wages of Indians are the lowest.
