Employees Can Choose Between Work From Home & Office, Says Paytm
Giving the biggest relief to its employee, Paytm has announced that the company's workers won't be forced to come office. Announcing the development, the company's founder Vijay Shekhar Sharm said we've opted for a ''100% flexible work pattern''. Besides, the company is set to launch its Initial Public Offer (IPO) on November 8, closing on November 10. The company has planned to raise Rs 18,300 crore through its IPO.

Karnataka Govt Requests IT Companies To Extend WFH

Google's Hybrid Workspace Model Offers Work From Home, Different Locations
Planning to launch a new hybrid workspace model, Google CEO Sundar Pichai has proposed to allow one-fifth of employees to work from home. Moreover, allowing 60% employees to work in office only few days a week the remaining 20% Googlers may work from different locations. Pichai said the employees will also be allowed to work two days from anywhere they find best provided the company goals are not affected.

MHA Provides Work From Home Option For Officers
With rising Covid-19 cases in Delhi, the Ministry of Home Affairs has put forth a work-from-home option for 50% of its undersecretary level officers on April 16. But deputy secretary and employees above that rank will have to report to the office anytime between 9 am to 10 am to avoid rush during the commute. Employees from containment zones have been exempted from coming to the office.

Microsoft To Allow Some Employees To Work From Home Even After Offices Reopen
American tech giant Microsoft has decided to allow some of its employees to work from home permanently. According to The Verge, Microsoft offices will not reopen until January 2021. Once they have been reopened, employees, with their manager's approval, can opt for work from home regularly. However, employees working in the Microsoft labs and the ones who train other employees will not be eligible for this option.
