Two Health Officers Suspended In Connection To COVID Deaths In Kolar

Two health officers including the district surgeon were suspended on April 28 citing medical negligence where five died due to COVID-19 at Karnataka's Kolar district SNR Hospital. The state Health Minister Dr. K Sudhakar agreed to the lapses in treating COVID-19 patients at the district hospital. Reportedly, the suspended officers have left 40 oxygen ventilators unused that could have been used in the treatment of the deceased.

Chennai: Two Officials Suspended after Woman Dies of Electrocution

The Chennai Metropolitan Corporation suspended two officials on September 15, after a woman died of electrocution. Alima, a 35-year-old woman died after she stepped on a live wire lying on the road, near her house. However, the residents claim that they had already complained, yet no actions were taken. Uttarakhand: Suspension of BJP MLA Over Viral Gun Video Revoked

On August 25, BJP MLA Kunwar Pranav Singh’s suspension was cancelled after 13 months of 'good conduct'. He had been suspended from the party for six years, over a viral video of him dancing with guns and using abusive language. The party’s core committee took the decision after he apologized publicly. Singh "was not involved in any act of indiscipline in the past one year," party's state president Bansi Dhar Bhagat said.
