Simona Halep Tests COVID Positive; Pulls Out Of Women's WTA

Tennis player Simona Halep has tested positive for COVID-19. The former women's world number one informed through her Twitter handle on October 31 that she was recovering well from the mild symptoms and was feeling good. The 29-year-old is currently under self-isolation at home and did not travel to New York for US Open Grand Slam 2020. Halep will also not play the Women's WTA scheduled from November 9 in Austria.
