Neymar Hints Retirement After Qatar World Cup Next Year
Brazilian star footballer Neymar stated that next year's World Cup in Qatar may be his last. The 29-year-old striker made the remarks in the DAZN-produced-documentary "Neymar & The Line Of Kings." On October 10, part of the story was posted on the channel's Twitter account. “I am facing it like the last World-Cup because I don't know whether I will be able to, mentally, to endure more soccer,” said Neymar.

Ukraine Defeats Finland 2-1 In World Cup Qualifier, Grabs 2nd Position
Ukraine defeated Finland 2-1 in a World Cup qualifier on October 9 owing to the goals from Andriy Yarmolenko and Roman Yaremchuk. Teemu Pukki of Norwich City evened up for Finland in the 29th minute, but Ukraine took back the lead minutes later. Ukraine has moved into the second position in Group D, eight points behind France, followed by 12 points. Finland leads Kazakhstan by five points.

India's archery players, Atanu Das and Deepika Kumari lost bronze medal matches at the world cup final in Yankton (USA). The pair battled in frigid circumstances due to the lack of an Indian recurve instructor on October 1. Das was beaten 6-0 by defending Olympic champion Mete Gazoz of Turkey in a one-sided bronze playoff. He also stepped up as Deepika's coach after she lost against Michelle Kroppen.
