COVID-19 Stays Active For More Hours Than Influenza Virus: Report

A medical study has revealed that the novel coronavirus can survive upto 9 hours on human skin, seven hours more than the Influenza A Virus. The Journal Clinical Infectious Diseases' study also indicated that the viruses' survival rate was lesser on the skin than other surfaces such as glass and plastic. Besides, it asserted that hand sanitizers could catalyze the inactivation of the viruses. The study stressed on frequent hand-washing.
