Novak Djokovic Suffers Defeat, Loses World No.1 Ranking To Daniil Medvedev

Novak Djokovic suffered a defeat by qualifier Jiri Vesely in the Dubai Tennis Championships quarterfinals on February 24, and lost its status as world number one player. However, Russia’s Daniil Medvedev will overtake Djokovic to become the new World No 1. Besides, Djokovic congratulated Medvedev over a “very deserving” No. 1 spot in world rankings. Notably, Djokovic spent a record 361 weeks atop the rankings.
