XBB.1.16 Variant

India continues to register over 5,000 new cases of Coronavirus. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare confirmed 6,050 new single day cases, over 600 cases than the previous day's 5,335 cases. Besides new cases, the nation registered 14 deaths, taking the tally to 5,30,943. The active cases stood at 28,303 comprising 3.39% daily positivity rate.
