Xi Jinping Elected As President Of People's Republic Of China
In a major development, Xi Jinping has been elected as the President of People's Republic of China unanimously on March 10. This will be Jinping's third term as the President and is widely expected to continue in power for life.Jinping, 69, was re-elected by the once-in-a-five-year Congress of the ruling Communist Party of China (CPC.) The elections were conducted unanimously.

China Despatches 2 Military Cargo Aircrafts To Provide Aid To Flood-Hit Pakistan
Coming to Pakistan’s aid amid the grim flood situation across the country, China has despatched two large military cargo aircrafts to deliver supplies. The aircrafts left from Southwest China’s Sichuan, and are capable of carrying over 60 tonnes of cargo. The aircraft is scheduled to deliver 3,000 tents and other aid to Pakistan. 21 Chinese Warplanes, 5 Warships Tracked Around Taiwan
Taiwan has reported that 21 Chinese warplanes and five warships have been tracked around the territory of Taiwan, with eight jets crossing Taiwan Strait Median line. Taiwan has asked its Combat Air Patrol (CAP), navy ships and air defence missile systems to monitor China’s military actions and respond. On the previous day, as many as 51 Chinese warplanes breached the territory boundaries.

Kindergarten Attack Leaves 6 Dead & 3 Injured In Jiangxi: China
In China's southern province of Jiangxi, six persons were killed, and three were injured in an attack a kindergarten, on August 3. Reportedly, the suspect was 48-years-old, and was identified by his surname Liu. Besides this, no further details on the attack was given in the brief statement. Notably, at least 100 children and adults were killed in China, in the past decade, in similar attacks.

Ukraine Crisis 'Sounded An Alarm' For Humanity, Says Chinese President Xi Jinping
Speaking at the opening of a virtual business forum at the BRICS countries, Chinese President Xi Jinping said that the conflict in Ukraine "has sounded an alarm for the humanity". The statement came while China continues to assume a position of neutrality. But on the flip side, China continues to not criticise the war in Ukraine, not call it an invasion. Meanwhile, Russia has become China's largest supplier of oil.

China Plane Crash: President Xi Jinping Orders Probe
Chinese President Xi Jinping expressed grief over the chinese aircraft crash and ordered a probe into it. Notably, on March 21, a plane carrying 132 people including 123 passengers and nine crew members, crashed in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous region. As of now, the death report has not been revealed. Meanwhile, Chinese President assured rescue efforts and detailed investigation in the crash of Boeing 737 aircraft.

Chinese Premier Xi Jinping Assures Support To India In COVID Crisis
In a message of sympathy towards India, Chinese President Xi Jinping on April 30 wrote to PM Narendra Modi and assured of providing support in fight against the COVID-19 crisis. President Xi wrote, "Humanity is a community with a shared future. Only through solidarity and cooperation can countries around the world ultimately defeat the pandemic". Earlier On April 29, the Chinese Foreign Minister had also pledged China's support to India.
