ED Summons Yami Gautam For Alleged Violation Of Forex Laws
The Enforcement Directorate in Mumbai summoned actress Yami Gautam for questioning in an alleged money laundering case on June 30. The agency discovered Rs 1.5 crore worth of foreign exchange transactions in her bank account which is being investigated under the civil proceedings of the Foreign Exchange Management Act, according to sources. Kangana Blasts Vikrant Massey For Calling Yami Gautam 'Radhe Maa'
Kangana Ranaut on June 6 called Mirzapur-famed actor Vikrant Massey a "cockroach" after the latter compared Yami Gautam's wedding look to Radhe Maa. The exchange of words occurred on Yami's Instagram post where Massey wrote, "Pure and pios like Radhe Maa", to which Kangana replied, "Kahan se nikla ye cockroach... lao meri chappal". Abhishek Bachchan to Portray Corrupt Politician in 'Dasvi'
Abhishek Bachchan will be seen in role of a corrupt politician in 'Dasvi', produced by Dinesh Vijan. The film will narrate the story of a corrupt illiterate politician who goes to jail and prepares for 10th examination in the prison. Directed by Tushar Jalota, the film will also feature Yami Gautam as a jailer and Nimrat Kaur as Bachchan's wife. Reportedly, shooting of the political-comedy drama will begin in early 2021.

Yami Gautam Set To Work With 'Pink' Movie Director
According to the reports, actor Yami Gautam has signed the 'Pink' director Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury's next social drama. The 'Ginny Weds Sunny' actor is said to be essaying the role of a journalist in the movie, which is yet to be named. Reportedly, the pre-production formalities are set to begin soon and the makers are planning to start filming from the first quarter of 2021.

Directorial debut of Puneet Khanna, 'Ginny Weds Sunny' marks the first collaboration between the two actors. Earlier slated for a theatrical release, the movie will now be streaming on Netflix from October 9, 2020.

Netflix on September 20 announced that it will premier movie 'Ginny Weds Sunny' on October 9. Besides this, Netflix also released a teaser of the movie's song 'LOL'. The romantic-comedy film will star Yami Gautami and Vikrant Massey. The movie will be produced by Soundrya Production, and will be first of the actor-duo together.

The makers of 'Bhoot Police' have announced Jaqueline Fernandez and Yami Gautam as the leading ladies of the horror-comedy. The movie will also feature Saif Ali Khan and Arjun Kapoor, who will be seen as ghost hunters.
