Presidential Poll Results: Droupadi Murmu Leads Against Yashwant Sinha, First Round Of Counting Comes To End

The counting of votes for the presidential election began and July 21, and the first round of counting is reportedly concluded. As of now, Droupadi Murmu has taken a lead against Yashwant Sinha. Reportedly, Murmu has secured 540 votes, whereas, Sinha has secured 208 votes. The winner of the poll will become the 15 president of India, succeeding Ram Nath Kovind.

Presidential Elections Result; Counting Of Votes To Begin At 11 AM

India is all set to get its 15th President, as the counting of votes for the presidential elections are underway, on July 21. The counting of ballot papers for NDA and UPA candidates, Draupadi Murmu and Yashwant Sinha, respectively, will be held at the Parliament House. The returning officers (ROs) will separate the votes of 729 MPs and 9 MLAs, following which counting will begin at 11 AM.

Presidential Elections 2022: Draupadi Murmu & Yashwant Sinha In Fray

The NDA candidate Draupadi Murmu and the UPA candidate Yashwant Sinha are all set to face the Presidential elections, on July 18.  The result of the 2022 elections will be announced on July 21, and the new president will take the oath on July 25. Approximately, 4,800 MPs will be voting in Parliament house, and state legislative. Moreover, the elections will be held between 10 am to 5 pm.

AAP To Support Yashwant Sinha For 2022 Presidential Polls

Ahead Of West Bengal Polls, Former Minister Yashwant Sinha Joins TMC

Former BJP leader and Union Minister Yashwant Sinha joined Trinamool Congress days ahead of the assembly polls in West Bengal.
