CBI Raids Premises Of Realtors In Yes Bank Fraud Case
CBI raided the premises of realtors Ashwini Bhonsale, Shahid Balwa, and Vinod Goenka, at eight locations in Mumbai and Pune. The CBI suspected their companies' connection with the DHFL- Yes Bank corruption case. Balwa and Goenka were previously accused by CBI in the 2G spectrum case. Yes Bank founder Rana Kapoor and Kapil Wadhawan of DHFL are also accused in the 2020 Corruption case.

Dish TV May Remove Directors, MD Over Yes Bank's Demand
Following the Yes Bank's demand to remove directors and MD of Dish TV, the DTH service provider said on September 6 that it's started examing the demand. Reportedly, the bank, hold 25.63% stakes in the company, had demanded on September 3, claiming "the Board is not acting in line with good corporate governance standards." However, any new development will be announced at the annual general meeting on September 27.

Yes Bank Files FIR Against 'Cox And Kings' For Loan Fraud Of Rs 523 Crore
Following the complaint of Yes Bank executive, the EOW, Mumbai Police has registered a fresh FIR against the Cox and Kings group on a loan default of Rs 523 crore on June 24. Reportedly, the group has been allegedly involved in fraudulent activities involving a sum of around Rs 2,000 crore. The promoters, directors and others related to the fraud have been booked, followed by an investigation, said an official.

SBI Life Signs Bancassurance Agreement With Yes Bank
SBI Life on September 21 inked a pact with Yes Bank to sell its insurance policies. With this, SBI Life's insurance policies are now available for Yes Bank's customers across the country. Ravi Krishnamurthy, SBI Life President-Zone1, said, "we aim to provide financial security for consumers and further reduce the protection gap in India." Reportedly, SBI Life will use digital infrastructure of Yes Bank to bigger its reach.

Yes Bank's Petition Against Zee Entertainment Quashed by Bombay High Court
Yes Bank's plea for preventing Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd (ZEEL) from selling its assets was rejected by the Bombay HC on August 19. The petition had requested to bar ZEEL MD Punit Goenka from leaving the country as well. The case pertains to a 'letter of comfort' issued by Punit Goenka to Yes Bank as a guarantee against loan of over $50 Million, which was taken by a Zee subsidiary.
