Agra Metro Projects Receives 1st Yellow Train Today

An official of the Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation (UPMRC) confirmed the arrival of first metro train in Agra Metro Station. Notably, the yellow train will be the first train for the upcoming Metro Project in Agra, constructed by Yogi Adityanath led BJP Government. Starting from 2024, the Agra Metro station will have a total of 28 trains for Agra Metro and six for the priority corridor.

Yogi Govt. To Rename Yamuna Expressway After Vajpayee

The Yogi government in Uttar Pradesh is likely to change the name of Yamuna Expressway after former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The announcement for the same is expected to come on November 25. PM Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of the Noida International Airport in Jewar, according to Hindustan Times. Earlier in 2018, the Ekana International Cricket Stadium was also named after the former PM Vajpayee.

Yogi Govt To Give Tablets & Laptops To Youths In UP By Nov End

Uttar Pradesh's CM Yogi Adityanath on October 23 announced that his government has decided to distribute ''tablets and laptops'' among the youth by the end of November. Reportedly, the initiative will help the students to complete their online courses at ease. He announced the development while laying the foundation stone of a government medical college in Sultanpur. He also attacked the opposition for 'playing with the people's faith'.

Yogi Govt To Extend Doctor's Retirement Age From 65 To 70

To be prepared before the third wave of COVID-19, the Yogi government has planned to increase the retirement age of doctors from 65 to 70 in Uttar Pradesh. The proposal to extend the age is expected to get the approval of the cabinet at ease considering the upcoming assembly election. However, there is only one doctor on 19,962 patients in UP which is less than 17,759 from Delhi.

Yogi Govt To Gift Phones, Laptops To Students Ahead Of Poll

Considering the 2021 UP assembly election, the Yogi Adityanath government promised to provide smartphones or laptops to one crore youths on August 19. CM Adityanath informed the state assembly that the government provided ''Rs 3,000 crore to the electronics department for this purpose.'' Under the provision, the students who take admission in graduate, postgraduate, or diploma courses will be entitled to the gift.

UP Govt Presents First Paperless, Largest Budget For 'Aatmanirbhar' UP
