After accusations that Zayn Malik hit his girlfriend Gigi Hadid's mother Yolanda Hadid, the singer has spoken, denying the charges. In a statement, he claimed that he wanted to "create a safe and private space for his daughter to grow up". Zayn said that he hopes for "healing for all involved with the harsh words shared", and that he had to speak out because of the pressure from the media.
