After facing defeat in five poll bound states, Congress G-23 leaders met Ghulam Nabi Azad at his residence. According to sources, few Congress leaders suggested to skip the meeting, as they were disappointed that nothing serious are discussed but only praises of Gandhi family, happens in such meetings. In Uttarakhand's Kashipur, a man was arrested after allegedly brandishing a knife on stage during a programme of Congress party. The programme was attended by former state CM Harish Rawat. However, no untoward incident happened as the accused was nabbed by the Youth Congress members.
