Congress G-23 Leaders Meet At Ghulam Nabi Azad Residence: Delhi

After facing defeat in five poll bound states, Congress G-23 leaders met Ghulam Nabi Azad at his residence. According to sources, few Congress leaders suggested to skip the meeting, as they were disappointed that nothing serious are discussed but only praises of Gandhi family, happens in such meetings.  Furthermore, Anand Sharma said, only G-23 leaders should attend the meeting and are likely to meet again in a few days.

Uttarakhand Police Arrests 1 For Waving Knife During Harish Rawat's Program

In Uttarakhand's Kashipur, a man was arrested after allegedly brandishing a knife on stage during a programme of Congress party. The programme was attended by former state CM Harish Rawat. However, no untoward incident happened as the accused was nabbed by the Youth Congress members. "A case has been registered and the person has been arrested for brandishing a knife on a stage," said Dilip Kumar Kunwar, SSP.
