Actor-politician Pawan Kalyan announced an alliance between his JanaSena and the Telugu Desam Party of ex-AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu. The announcement came as a drawback for the ruling Government, YSRCP. Kalyan also extended support to TDP supremo, who is in custody in an alleged ₹ 371 crore scam case. Furthermore, the TDP and JanaSena leaders also slammed the YSRCP Government for the arrest, claiming it was illegal.
Opposing the judgement of the Andhra Pradesh High Court regarding the construction of R5 Zone, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Government decided to move the Supreme Court. Notably, the AP High Court on Thursday issued an interim order staying the construction of houses in the Amaravati R-5 zone, which is under the site of house pattas, granted to poor people in Andhra Pradesh.

Former CM of Andhra Pradesh and Congress leader Kiran Kumar Reddy joined the BJP, in Andhra Pradesh. The decision to join the BJP was a major drawback for the Congress, as the state is set to contest the state assembly elections in 2024. Notably, with the inclusion of former AP Congress leader, BJP could strengthen its establishment in Rayalseema region, making the BJP third party in the Telugu State.
The Andhra Pradesh Government, MLAs and Cabinet ministers are set to hold a Budget meeting, to discuss various bills. Notably, on March 14, the YSRCP Government kickstarted the 2023-2024 Budget Session in the legislative assembly.
