Sri Lanka Allows Controversial Visit Of China's 'Spy Ship' Despite Warnings From India
Sri Lankan government has officially granted permission for the Chinese research vessel to visit the island nation on August 13, depsite warnings from India. India fears that the vessel could possibly spy on Delhi's military installments. China claims that the controversial Yuan Wang 5 ship is a research and survey vessel. However, India asserts that the ship is a dual-use spy ship.
