India's 1st Needleless COVID-19 Vaccine Zycov D Rolls Out In Bihar
People of Bihar would be first to take India's first needleless vaccine against COVID-19. The Plasmid DNA vaccine would be given in three doses to eligible population against Coronavirus. As of now, only three vaccination centres in Patna; Patliputra Sports Complex, Polytechnic College and Gurunanak Bhawan will administer the needle free doses. Notably, the three shots of Zycov D will be given with a gap of 28 days.

Govt Likely To Extend Expiry Date For Zydus Cadila's COVID-19 Vaccine
The Central Government is likely to extend expiry date of Zydus Cadila's ZyCoV-D vaccine against COVID-19 for children. Set to launch in January 2021, the expiration is expected to be extended by three more months and will be given to children aged between 15 to 17 years. Besides Zydus Cadila's vaccine, Bharat Biotech's COVAXIN will also be given to the children's vaccination drive, set to begin from January 3.

Zydus Cadila Vaccine To Be launched On Gandhi Jayanti
The Government is conducting talks about the pricing of Zydus Cadila before its expected launch on the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. ZyCoV-D is the the world's first DNA based vaccine against Covid-19. However the final meeting for fixing the final price of vaccine is likely to be held this week. The vaccine dose is costlier than that of Covishield but still affordable compared to other vaccination options.
