India's First Glass Bridge Comes Up In Bihar's Nalanda District
Just like China, India has also constructed its own glass bridge to boost adventure tourism. Constructed in Bihar’s Nalanda district, the bridge aims to propel the tourism potential of Nalanda, which is well-known for being an ancient study centre. The bridge has been constructed along the lines of 120-metre glass bridge in China’s Hangzhou. Technically, this is India’s second glass bridge. However, the first one proposed at Rishikesh’s Lakshman Jhula is yet to be completed.
