Earthquake Of Magnitude 6 Hits US' Alaska Coast
The US Geological Survey said that an earthquake measuring magnitude 6 on the Richter scale struck the coast of Alaska, on December 21. The epicentre of the quake was recorded 61 kilometers east of the city of Port Alsworth. However, it occurred at a depth of 1,526 km from the surface. So far, any death and damage to property have not been reported.
