Virgin Hyperloop Test: Pod Carries Two Humans For The First Time
The US-based transportation technology company Virgin Hyperloop successfully conducted a human-passenger test on November 9. The company's CTO Josh Geigel, and Director of Passenger Experience Sara Luchian were the first passengers to travel in the hyperloop at a test track in the Nevada desert. The super-high-speed pods which run in magnetic levitation, can travel up to 600 mph (966 kph) or faster. The company expects commercial operation by 2030.
