CBSE Wishes Teachers Day, Persuades Students to Share Photos of Teachers
Every year, India celebrates Teachers Day with great enthusiasm and gaiety. But this year amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE), along with its entire fraternity including 250 schools across the world affiliated with the board, marked the special occasion of Teachers Day by celebrating online. It was an acknowledgement of all the teachers for their commitment and dedication in imparting holistic education. Taking to Twitter, the board shared a message in both English and Hindi appreciating the teachers for their perseverance, patience and passion. With hashtags #OurTeachersOurHeros and #TeachersFromIndia, It acknowledged teachers' extensive efforts in infusing the young minds with "stronger values and making a positive difference in the students’ life". The board also persuaded students, schools, and parents to share messages/selfies/sketches/anecdotes/positive experiences that they cherished with their teachers on social media platforms. The campaign was launched on September 4 and continued till September 5.
