Jammu-Srinagar Highway Closed For Vehicular Movement Amid Landslide
Jammu-Srinagar national highway was closed for the fourth consecutive day on June 24, amid blasting boulders blocking roads due to landslides, mudslides and shooting stones. Approximately 33 places in Ramban and Udhampur districts witnessed heavy rains, resulting in traffic issues and the closure of highways. "The restoration work in the Banihal-Ramban-Udhampur section is on a war footing," said officials. Meanwhile, Mughal road is working for regular vehicular movement.
