TET To Be Made Compulsory For Madrassa Teacher Recruitment In Uttar Pradesh
Uttar Pradesh government will require the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) as a prerequisite for hiring teachers in the state's madrassas. Danish Azad Ansari, a state minister for minority welfare, stated that the NCERT syllabus has been applied to give excellent education to pupils in the state's madrasas. Ansari stated TET requirement will not apply to instructors of Urdu, Arabic, Farsi, or Diniyat, but will only apply to teachers teaching NCERT curriculum.
