Delhi Capitals Book Berth In Qualifier One; Bangalore Also Enters Playoff
After a comfortable victory against Royal Challengers Bangalore, Delhi Capitals sealed their spot in November 5 'Qualifier One' against the Mumbai Indians. Winning the toss, DC opted to chase the target. With sluggish scoring speed and inability to convert good start into big knocks, Virat Kohli's batting brigade faced the tremor once again. RCB could manage to put only an average target of 152 runs after losing seven wickets. Delhi, despite losing out-of-form Prithvi Shah early, firmed its chase with a sensible 88-run partnership between Shikhar Dhawan and Ajinkya Rahane. Their knocks helped the team to conquer the target in 19th over with six wickets in hand. Though RCB lost the game, they also qualified for the playoff by net run rate. Now all goes to the last league game between Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad that will decide the fourth qualifier of the IPL 2020 playoffs - Will it be Warner-led Sunrisers or Morgan's Knight Riders?
