Transgender Community Helps Thane Cops To Control Traffic
In a never-before-seen development, around 50 members of the transgender community in Maharashtra accompanied Thane’s Ulhasnagar cops in monitoring the traffic and halting violators. The joint initiative of Ulhasnagar Traffic Police and Vanya Foundation aims to facilitate dialogue between the general public and the transgender community, besides relieving the police. Additionally, as a token of peace, 100 specially-abled children joined to distribute white roses to honkers, reminding them to refrain from violating traffic rules.
