Navy Hands Arrested Crew Of Lankan Vessel Carrying Drugs To NCB
The Indian Navy on April 20 handed over the Sri Lankan crew, arrested on April 19 with 300kgs of narcotics, to the Narcotics Control Bureau. Reportedly, the Navy busted an international smuggling racket that operated in the Arabian Sea on April 19, and seized narcotics worth Rs 3,000 crore from a Sri Lankan fishing vessel originating from Pakistan. The vessel was brought to Kochi coast on April 19.
